Assalamualaikum w.b.t.
During class Ustaz asked us, how do we interpret liberation?
Liberation is freedom from the clutches of the unnecessary, annoying trivialities that we are faced with every day. Liberation is about allowing people to focus on more important things instead of being stuck in the same petty and unfruitful agenda. Liberation is freedom from over-attachment towards something that would not contribute to our eternal later life.
Freedom is the ability to not accept wrongs as norms, without being afraid of the tags - backwards, closed-minded, and hypocritical.
In other words, please don't resort to tabarruj and call it freedom. Because you (and I) are actually succumbing to the demands of the opposite gender who don't deserve any bit of it. Don't say it's not for them - that's one of the most exorbitant lie a female can - and always - tell.
"Women impure are for men impure, and men impure for women impure and women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity: these are not affected by what people say: for them there is forgiveness, and a provision honourable"
(QS An-Nur: 26)
P/S - Post ini lebih untuk menegur diri saya sendiri dari orang lain.
She dwelt among the untrodden ways Beside the springs of Dove, A Maid whom there were none to praise, And very few to love: A violet by a mossy stone Half hidden from the eye! Fair as a star, when only one Is shining in the sky. She lived unknown, and few could know When Lucy ceased to be; But she is in her grave, and oh, The difference to me.
